In a strong contrast to the FFF message of 'play by the rules', Tiger accepts that he has to follow society's rules and not make up his own:

"I was wrong. I was foolish. I don't get to play by different rules; the same rules that apply to everyone apply to me."
...
"When I do return, I need to make my behaviour more respectful of the game."

Do I believe that Tiger won't dabble again? No.

But, do I believe that he has now launched what will be a successful comeback? Yes.

The continued arrogance on the part of Floyd to now deny the legal actions in France continue to isolate Floyd as the best example of what not to do.
