Throwing a bone to those that appear to hate him for his Harley commentary, Dick Pound is back in the news. Perhaps surprisingly to some, though, he is focused on a sport other than cycling.

Some folks here may feel vindicated to see Dick spout off again. Me, I am infuriated.

Was Dick trying to bring up the recent adverse finding for DHEA in cycling?

C'mon, comparing cycling to figure skating? That is a low blow.

Obviously, Dick has failed the compulsories on this one.

You do know the judges are paid for by their national federation, not the international body, right? That alone suggests conflicts of interest are possible. And based on DP getting it right on TV rights, corruption in Salt Lake, and doping/WADA, I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt until more comes out.

Is this an attempt by Dick Pound to impugn Vancouver's good name as Olympic host?
