So, should cycling take some credit for pioneering, or will it take flak for doing it tentatively? The Pechstein examle suggests other sports have been collecting samples longer, and are prepared to take more definitive action.

And I wonder how much the Pechstein win at CAS influenced the WADA announcement?

The credit should go to the FFC as they started the first longitudinal testing 10 years ago
