So I was watching the Vuelta and I suddenly realized that Garmin's performances this year are similar to an old Blue Train.

T.D. finally found time to stop roasting beans and mix in some altitude training on Mt. Washington?

I heard on one of the stages of the Vuelta ....Universal sports replay commentators made the statement that Tommy D. lost 9kilos before the Vuelta? That he had gained weight during the Giro? What in the hell?

That Italian food is a killer. Gets me every time. Nothing like paella and tapas to drop a pound or two.

With the crucial difference that the old Blue was normally on the front of the peloton.

Absolutely. But the differences are not obvious to some who prefer baiting.

Tommy D. out of the Vuelta due to illness. Heck I was thinking something had changed. Looks like they do have porta Johns at the Vuelta.
