For those of us watching at home, this thread is confusing enough already. I get the feeling I'm staring at an iceberg. 1/7th of the discussion is public, but most of it is happening offline.

Are you guys really threatening outting each other, or am I misunderstanding the innuendo?

I am pretty sure we are witnessing an intergalactic food fight here.

My money is on OAR, when he starts flinging Red Lobsters around there will be total devastation. blackeye.gif

It has an echo of a couple of threads at another forum with some differently named protagonists.

I think it's a bit like Borat and Azamat fighting. When it was in their hotel room, no-one really cared. Now that it's spilled out into the lift, and the convention hall is around the corner, they're getting some weird looks.

Yup. :-)

But seriously, whatever it is, you guys better get your shxt together. The line was crossed quite a few posts ago, in my opinion. People have gotten banned for far far lesser offenses.

Never mind the Rules. If the moderators of this board are going to threaten each other with privacy violations, how do they expect members to take them seriously. C'mon.

The latter. I'm not threatening anything.

I was pointing out that if people (including Moderators) are going to toss around the "Stay on topic" rule, they should obey it themselves.

RH's point about "Several of us do, etc." refers to OAR's comment about "who runs this place" - not anyone's identity.

Thanks, once again, for taking the high road Pel. Sheesh.

...

And I think that is the last point that most of us were still able to follow the trail.

Too bad, though, 'cuz this is a triple whammy thread otherwise.
1. Analysis of Lance's data raises serious doubts
2. Lance pulls data (wouldn't just admitting guilt be easier?) from Livestrong site (really, is this the best way to cure cancer?)
3. Lance-ophyte exposed, because his heart really is three sizes too small

Dave.

I just fired off an email to someone over at the website to see if they are going to post the values again. wink.gif

Actually the exact quote was:
QUOTE

several of us do...and several of us know you'd prefer we did not know(*).

I'm still not understanding how this fits the "who runs this place" reference. I read it (*) as being a reference to rationalhead warning OAR to not "LMAO" in reference to that Australian reference to pelota. I could be wrong, though, and if so I apologise.

And thanks for the dismissive tone. I must say, it becomes you... :-)

$100 says this progresses as far as all the previous Lance hype/hysteria. You girls need to cool your jets, otherwise you're going to be disappointed again.

Lance this ... Lance that ... What's the polar opposite of a Lance fan-boy ? A Lance fan-boy !

You've just been outed, fanboy ... smile.gif

I am sure you will find some to bet you the 100$ but maybe you should make the bet in Euro's? Dollars are having a tough time at the moment.

All I can say, you were NOT wrong interpreting my statement. It was a reference to a specific bit of information.

It was deserved.

Aaaaand since no one seems to be able to stay on-topic, we'll just end this thread here.
