The song was Badlands by "The Boss". your taste in music is questionable, dude. do pro cyclists get lucky with the podium girls? -------------------- 'How can you diagnose me with a compulsive disorder and then tell me I have any control over whether or not I come here?'--Jack Nicholson, "As Good As It Gets"

Floyd, your personal messages are full. How about deleting some of them so the rest of us can PM you?

I have plenty of new songs but I'll add that to the list. Dude, post your Playlists on Itunes!!! That'd be awesome! -------------------- Coach Richard Wharton - not afraid to leave a name, and calling out cowards who hide behind pseudonyms.

Jeeze, now you will get work applications in your PM box!!!! Damn it, I can't win, that is in no way what I meant by that. Thank God you're not prevailling over my case. (maybe prevailing is not the right word, I was trying to be like Chris T) How 'bout a little Kid Rock "You Never Met a Mother F'er Like Me?" A great war cry song to get you in the fight mode . . . On that issue, I am sorry to those of you who did not get a reply. Thank you for all of the messages, I will reply to as many as possible. You wanna make a bet that you get at least one offer from someone, either PM (if you ever clear it out) or on these boards . . . yesterday it was burgers, today it will be free secretarial services. Of course, the bet is already tainted by my post. |

My reasons for wanting clarification on the alchohol issue have nothing to do with the things you're saying. Here's why it's relevant to me: 1) Floyd initially said he had one beer. 2) Floyd was blindsided by the unfair release of information that implied he failed a doping test. 3) Speculation swirled on this forum and others including links to an old study that claimed heavy alchohol consumption could elevate testosterone. 4) Floyd changed his story to say he had several beers and several shots. It looked to me as if he'd seen the study and was modifying his story to fit it. (Did you see or hear about this study before changing your story, Floyd?) 5) About a week later reporters asked Floyd about the alchohol story and he said he didn't know how it got attributed to him, but since he was the one who I heard say it I don't understand that explaination. 6) Floyd has repeated in this thread that the alchohol story was somebody elses idea, but we still don't know who or why. I've been impressed by Floyd's explaination of other issues, including his conversations with LeFevre and McQuaid. I'm hoping he will offer an explaination for this situation as well. I wasn't saying that I didn't talk about drinking alcohol, what I meant was that I didn't say that that was the reason for the result. I was only recounting events. |
