Latest report suggests Nike may have transferred $500k to Verbruggen to cover up the 1999 corticosteroud positive

Way to go Nike (if true)
Nice to go from a true runners shoe company (Bowarman's days think waffle racer) to a drug funding company. Thanks you Nike. -

He says the quoted after laying into any other dopers that have come up against Lance. He is a real horses ass. -

This is why the UCI cannot be allowed to both promote and police the sport
I don't see how the UCI can handle either promoting or policing. They truly suck at all aspects and as if someone could ever utter this statement but they are more corrupt than the IOC. HOW in the #### can something like that happen?
Lance Armstrong destroyed cycling with the permission and assistance of the UCI, and USAcycling. Nuff said? What in the #### possibly could be more damaging now? -

Well as far as trying to find a rider without a charge Escartin is close to the candidate. I think others here have pointed to some investigations or implications but nothing like what is above him.
I guess we will have a new podium with Betsy A. as the winner. I wonder if the podium will be large enough to support all of the weight? You know since she is fat and angry........ haha.

Thank you all for the comments and support to my side of the argument. It means a lot. As gsteinb brought up - DPCandND, I really don't appreciate being called an asshat. Gsteinb hits it dead on the nail when he says that's no way for a Forum moderator to act.
I hear that this forum kind of took a tumble in 2009 when Vaughn had his first stroke, it seems that history may be repeating itself. Anyone agree with me on that?
Also, gsteinb - DP Forums still has an entire sub-forum on Floyd's case. Speaking of Floyd - it would be great to get him back on the forums.
Well I hope the exchange between the Cowboy and Luke does not ruin anyone's posting. Hey sometimes people just disagree.
I admit that there were certain reasons to stop visiting the forums and none of them had to do with another forum being started elsewhere or with Vaughn and his health. I can only speak for myself and I left because a certain moderator was being a "A$$hat" to me and I did not like it. It was not Cowboy if anyone thinks that.
Anyhow the discussion has been great here and I wish more folks would come back and post.
