TOTO's subtitle is "Men's Journal". They (Men's Journal) are doing a 20th anniversary issue, and have a reprint of their old interview with LA after he won #5, but I can find nothing that would inspire the comic.

Apparently there is a new Men's Journal Article. The most substance that I can get is LA has said of charges are brought against him by the sporting associations, he will not fight them. That he is finished.

I got that from an article that I will link below from Cyclingnews. The article itself says almost nothing. It is mostly what Landis thinks LA's statement means rather than anything else. A whole lot of Landis talking. Very little substance. I guess we have to wait and see the actual Men's Journal Article and see what it says.
