Good win for Cav after the lead outs for everybody came totally unglued. Also good work by BMC to get Phinney back in the race after his mechanical.
Lots and lots of road furniture and moves from fairly wide roads to quite narrow. I'm surprised there weren't more crashes than there were.

Yes, Thomas earned his money today coming back to sort out Cavendish in that scrum

Is this the regular tactics of Sky? Leave Cavendish and Thomas alone in the end? What about a train?

And Goss takes his fifth second in eight races. He looked to be struggling with his gear selection compared to Cav. Still good enough for second and more possibilities to come.
Why oh why do race organisers keep putting stupid corners or roundabouts or street furniture in the finale of the race. There should be nothing inside the last 1000 metres. Particularly on the first road stage.
Thanks,
Buddy
