I know I dismissed him as too young to win races of the calibre of Flanders and Roubaix yet, but what he showed yesterday was mighty, mighty impressive. He was being wasteful with his strength all race long and still came out as one of the clearly strongest riders. Give him a year or two and he's dominating these races...

Is he riding Roubaix? Can't find a full startlist yet.
War. War never changes. The end of the world occurred pretty much as we had predicted: Too many humans, not enough space or resources to go around. The details are trivial and pointless, the reasons, as always, purely human ones.

He (and EBH) still have to try their hand at the Ardennes classics, and basically decide what kind of rider they want to be.

True...apparently Sagan's less talented brother Juraj is starting P-R but not him. :( EBH will be there though!

I think it's a shame the 'good' Sagan won't be there. P-R is a race that you better learn to ride early in your career than later on.

Indeed.
I would like Sagan to go to Omega and form a formidable classics combo with Stybar under the tutelage of a waning Boonen in a couple of years' time. I'm sure Bakala will throw his (considerable) weight behind such a move.

We can only hope for such a scenario. ;) It would seem like a wise idea for him to move to a team with a more classic focus and more support. There's a big difference riding for a team like this QST and Liquigas in races like Flanders.

Yes, it is much easier to pick out Sagan on the overhead shots of the lead group now. With QST...is that Boonen? Chavanel? Terpstra? You need to wait for the closeup shot!

 Chavanel is pretty easy to spot though! And let's assume that Sagan will be wearing the Slovenian national champion's jersey quite a lot during his career.

I didn't know Sagan had dual citizenship ;)

Sorry ... Had to!

Lance Armstrong mistaking Sagan's nationality during 2010 Tour Down Under

Notice you never see VDB and LA in the same place? Hmmm.... ^_^

Lies! I never tested positive for being Armstrong! You'll be hearing from my lawyers!

Fearless free spirit. An artist. It is to be hoped he won't be tamed, as his crudeness is part of “the complete package”.

@Burkni, thanks for the @Tweeter Sagan link; great fun!

Sagan's wheelie at the finish of La Planche des Belles Filles

http://www.sporza.be...alink/1.1359665

But, more importantly, at the end of the clip there's footage of Sagan doing a no-hands wheelie (!) in the Tour of Oman earlier this year.

This is starting to drive my Sagan adulation to atmospheric heights...

He's very impressive, I laughed when he rode by Sanchez and Gilbert at the top of that goat path today.

He is almost as impressive as Gilbert's fall from superhuman last year, for some unknown reason. BMC runs a little "tighter" ship, me thinks. <_<
