Well Andy is no longer a GT bridesmaid. Tour winner.

I wonder how much satisfaction he will get from that?

Thanks,

Buddy

Given that was the Tour of 'chaingate', he may already even think he really won it anyway.

All that anger in his belly for nothing. He should have remained tranquillo.

Very little, I imagine. He will need to pull a Menchov.

I lose track of cycling for a couple weeks and wake up to find Andy Schleck a Tour winner.

I was having a discussion with 3 friends yesterday about this and it lead to me and two of them betting the 4th that, in the absence of Contador, Jurgen Vandenbroeck would win the Tour this year. This illustrates that nothing good may come from Andy Schleck being a Tour winner! We may have been intoxicated, too.

The odds? If he wins Tour, our naysaying friend owes me a crate of Duvel, and the other two a crate of Westmalle each. If VdB doesn't win, we owe him one crate of Duvel (collectively). Naturally, I'm going to lose the bet, but at the potential loss of only a third of the price of a crate of Duvel, I felt like going crazy.
