I'm not watching (blasted family holiday trips :)) but I'm not buying this whole Evans faking a mechanical thing.

Contador and Schleck may quite well have struck a deal for next year's race.

Mano a mano: Evans vs Contador+(at some point, no doubt Andy).

Damn vacations!

I don't know re Evans, he sure looks strong right now. Comes to the front and in no time big names are out the back and the gap is tumbling. Maybe he just had a bad patch when Contador went.

If Evans can just control the gap to the top of this climb (~ one minute) he might have done what he needs to, and it should come back together.

If it goes to the finish, will Andy pull back and let his friend Alberto take the stage?

Is the Evans led yellow jersey group down to 6 riders already?

CN shows Voeckler, Evans, Basso, Cunego, Schleck, and Rolland. Is that it?

Evan cracked with the acceleration, nothing mechanical about it... he's riding at his own pace now, though, and closing the gap (or will on the descent, i think)... lessons learned from yesterday.

as i said before, there's a long way to go.

but i love AC for making all this happen! wonder if Vino rang him up last night?
