When I saw the title of this thread I was hoping for something more along the lines of:
"Update ... Vino attacks"

But good to know he's progressing

Looks like the painkillers are doing their thing, as he appears to be in a very happy place.

Video call between Vino and his teammates.

Great video find, Burk! Thanks for posting. Was he speaking French part or all of the time or bouncing back and forth from French to Kazakh and back? Given the form he had this year, it had to be heartbreaking for him not to be in France mixing it up. Lord knows he wouldn't have sat back sucking wheels during all of the Pyreneean stages. Those stages needed a Vino to set them on fire. Sad to see him bow out of the sport the way he did, but what a moving tribute to his teammates.

Kazakh just at the beginning I think.
It was on Vino's Facebook page.

Thanks!

Sad and moving. I thought tomorrow's stage to Gap must have been marked in his book; a nice closure to his first Tour stage. Wasn't that a dramatic stage, how Vino forced the chase of Beloki and Armstrong. Some of you have mentioned how reminiscent Vino's fall was of that of Beloki's. This time, Voeckler forced the peloton's chase. Maybe a Kreuziger can pull something out of the bag tomorrow. That would be a nice tribute.

Look how riveted to his words the team is. Very moving. Well, I'm getting choked up too.

video call translated (just ignore Harmon's jerky remarks -- he's always loathed Vino):

 Quick, someone send a L'Equipe team to go through their trash and retrieve those empty turquoise paint cans for evidence!

Vino the amazing! Thanks for all of those years of out smarting folks! You weren't always the strongest but you would attack and shirk at all the right moments. Plus you just have guts!!!
