How much you want to bet that "Fattie Master" dude will lose about 20 or more Kilograms before the l'etapes du tours de francs. The transformation will begin when he buys the gold program. Or does coke bottle glasses have platinum programs?

I know Chris Comical has all these programs color coded and even has training kits. Does Arnies army have that?

The only inbreeding here is what happens when you cross a torch with an English Bulldog...it becomes a Scottish Candle...kinda like Colin Montgomery....Now, an even more interesting question is: what do you get when you cross a disgraced former (two or three days...) TdF champion with a forced vacation and a domestic schedule? Well, you get an unhirable has-been who clearly never was. Well, some want to wait until the end of NEXT season to definitely say this. It wouldn't be a surprise to see Landis begin to perform better at select races in the future, I suppose, but if he doesn't, expect the hip replacement excuse to hit the ground running. I'd be the first to admit that coming back from that would be difficult.

The point was: he (the new Arnie trainee) described himself as an ex-pro to all the office folk,,....then a quick look at the USAC results show that he was a DNF in the few races he did start (as a fattie Master!). Why then, did he rooster about the office, and then say he was going to ride L'Etape?...because he IS what he is...and actually, to bring this full circle, he belongs in the same 'pathetic' pen as Dr. Arnie. My momma used to tell me (and she was from central North Carolina, a far superior breeding ground for intellect than Atlanta!) that if you sleep with dogs, you get fleas.

And Mr. Torch, I am definitely NOT pathetic. Nor mean, or stupid! I am, however, a cynic of the 33rd degree.

He's not fit enough. he's not "one of you", he's maybe full of himself 'cause he has a goal ? Get a life and stop judging other people, cause I can assure you that nobody is interested in your opinion ... although please tell me how the Etape guy gets on ... that does interest me ! He at least is trying to improve himself.

PS: Twice as sad for bringing Floyd into the equation ... I never even registered that at first reading ... you're a real class act, man ... full marks, if you were aiming for total ####wittery as a desirable outcome.

From my lips to yours...: I have a life, and its a good one, from my perspective! And in the world of me, that is the only perspective that counts! And I only judge when someone openly invites me into their existence (at that point, I figure they are asking for the 'judging'!). So when I get asked by this fellow's seniors and executives if what he has to say is for real, I try to be objective. Not that it is any of your business, torchy.

PS I'm really not a whisky drinker. A nice traditional beer (preferably not British), or a nice red wine (obviously not British). And if I were a whisky drinker, the Speyside malts are considered the best and most traditional amongst the whisky drinkers in the northeast of Scotland (an aquired taste, I believe).

It's hard to believe that Landis is serious about these comments:

There's been a number of riders coming back from suspensions relatively smoothly, so what would be the problem for any team picking him up?
