I had a couple of Corsendonk Paters at dinner tonight. [in DC for business.] I very much enjoyed this beer. I had never heard of it before, but give it the thumbs up. I would compare it to the Bernardus 8 if someone is wondering what it is similar to.

Time to get this topic back on track as we hit the offseason for cycling.

My Italian friend has been raving about Deus (Brut Des Flanders). I'm all for trying new beers, but this one was priced at $36 for a big bottle (no small bottles available). Has anyone tried this one? Comments? I hear it is significantly cheaper in Europe for those who want to give it a try.
