Given the Testosterone connection, this appears to best belong here.

Perhaps the blood brother thing is finally wearing off, as Lance comes clean on the decline in Testosterone levels during the Tour:

"But the fact is that if you are riding your bike five, six, seven hours a day, you are not a sex champion. You're just not. You have fatigue, low testosterone, and a lower libido." He grins. "But you know, I never got any complaints."

It does seem odd for him to confirm Dick Pound's jokes, however, especially given the name/word play and all that.

Dave.

I suppose that must explain why Floyd's testosterone levels were below average on his positive sample (WTF ?)

Why take Lance's word on testosterone theory when he's discredited on everything else?

Apparently you don't have a sense of humor nor of irony, but even he has to be right once in a while.

"I meet people casually while out with friends"

read "I snaffle the chicks away from my so called best mates and to hell with the consequences"

Also,

"I amde a mistake to let the public in with my relationshio with Sheryl.."

...we didn't want to be allowed in. To be fair, no one bought her reord anyway but you secretly put her on a bike in fornt of a gazillion cameras.

We should all defer to your judgement then. Btw, I think "testosterone theory" is pretty humorous of me.

So, not only is laughing at one's own jokes OK with you, you feel the need to point out the humor to others ? (although in this case, I think you could have spent more time on that aspect).

To The Rake: Very moral stance there. Given that they're all consenting adults, how the very rich, successful, good looking, charity saviour and cycling hero Lance Armstrong meets his movie-star good-looking female companions is between him and them, I'd have thought.

Perhaps not so much moral crusader as green eyed monster ?

What's your problem? I don't laugh at my own jokes as you do with your idiot laughing econ. As far as spelling out the humor, it was in defense of unfounded criticism from my repupublican friend who isn't quite as dense as you.

Whatever. Just explain why "testosterone theory is pretty humorous" is actually humorous ? (I'm waiting ... and you're now under the social microscope ... get going !).

Repupublican friend... who or what is that? Was that a typo?

Did Lance post here?

Having just landed in the Twin Cities with all of these hat-wearing folks running around, I guess I am a lot closer to being republican than I thought. I do love John McCain for his stance on PEDs though.

A typo.

John McCain's stance on PED's? Probably what's keeping him standing are PED's. (purely unpartisan observation)

Definitely possible.

I have already had an inbox on my stance on McCain due to his stance on l'ance. But, this is a guy that doesn't get the Apple joke in Forest Gump and is still tryng to figure out what kind of co-ed volleyball Al Gore invented. (yes, this is related to doping... and is not political commentary -- these are both computer and information processing jokes)

Given that while he is in his 70's now, that he was in his 40's when IBM introduced the PC suggests that new information -- like your buddy being a doper -- may come to him very slowly. The way I figure it, whether he is doped or not, or has any idea how to buy used doping equipment on E-Bay, if he is promoting anti-doping that works for me. Who knows where it might lead. Besides, how does L'ance tell him credibly to look the other way?

Dave.
