NBOL sees that he also lost JJ Haedo from his team. NBOL is lucky there are not a lot of sprinting stages left.

Without wishing to upset anyone, Rake has noticed that out of the 11 man ITT squad, Crockett is the only one yet to win a stage. :helmet:

Unfortunately true, and could also be viewed as another cagey Rake prediction that will continue to be true for the rest of the race. Idiot crockett selecting Hushovd!

Attrition is starting to take a toll on ITT. After todays stage we have:

Penguin down 6 riders.
NBOL down 5 riders.
VdB down 4 riders.
GuideMD, Burkni, & Shag down 3 riders.
MsCrockett, Crockett, & Rake down 2 riders.
Jokkee & Jimmie down 1 rider.

Congratulations to Mscrockett for braving the weather and taking 3 seconds out of the Rake in the final kilometre. Rake's do or die break was not so lucky as Rabottini's

Team ITT drops to fourth overall, but GuideMD maintains a solid top ten spot overall

NBOL adds his congratulations to mscrockett for her second stage win.

NBOL was disappointed to see the teams overall position take that much of a nose dive, but NBOL personally did very little to prevent it.

VdB is already happy he decided to include De Gendt as the non-sprinter in his team, as he actually seem to be holding on to the top 10 for now. Of course, to keep him up there in the team rankings, VdB needs him to win every stage from now on and preferably the Giro as well, which seems rather unlikely.

Sigh. Given the composition of the break and the 10 minute gap with 60km to go, looks like another zero point day for shag. Sorry guys! Holler if you need a bottle or anything else from the car.

Jokkee got mscrockett at the line with a bike throw, both with a fifteen point total. NBOL would make fun of that total if it were not exactly 15 points more than NBOL had.

VdB was quite disappointed by the entire team coming in behind the peloton. At least they showed grit sprinting for the 100th place...

NBOL had problems with the entire US Paceline team grabbing onto the keg hose and taking a tow. This affected not only NBOL but Penguin as well, as he could not get into his normal position to replenish.

Penguin will be sure to pull out his special set of Ben-Hur wheels today and weave all over the road (which shouldn't be hard given today's climbs) hoping to take out as much competition as possible.

Congratulations to GuideMD who got another stage win, and strengthened her hold on the Pink Jersey. (Ham pink though it may be).

Thanks to Penguins efforts to sweep NBOL's six, NBOL was able to at least get in the points today. Not near the top mind you, but in the points.

Preliminary review by NBOL has VdB beating Penguin by his inclusion of Kristoff on his team, with Burkni in third place. NBOL's only points today came for Lucas Haedo.
