Congratulations to newbie Ms. Crockett for taking a convincing sprint victory at RVV and showing Crockett who is wearing the pants in their home!

Now all she needs is a login here and a couple of lessons on how to beat on Penguin for drinking pansy ale.

NBOL echoes Burkni's congratulations to Ms. Crockett.

NBOL adds congratulations to Burkni who holds onto the teams overall lead.

Isn't it customary for a newbie to buy drinks for the team to celebrate their first win?

According to Penguin it is customary for almost everyone to buy drinks for the team for almost everything. :D

VdB's training for the big races hasn't completely failed with a 5th place, but he was pipped by Burkni and the crazy strong Crockett household who destroyed him with their attack on the Kwaremont.

VdB likes to think that Ms Crockett, Crockett and Jimmy rode away from the rest with Burkni chasing them (a la Sagan), while VdB won the sprint of the losers.

Is VdB calling Rake a loser? Rake sheltered VdB from the wind all day, then towed him to the line, and gave him a madison sling past it.

Rake also has Cancellara and Langeveld

VdB is calling himself a loser too, just a fast one. He would never diminish The Rake's performances after his legendary performances in VdB's ITT Pro Cycling Manager team (if Rake can remember that thread)!

Rake seems to remember winning Het Volk (many years ago since his last victory in anything, so still fresh in the mind!)

Indeed! Rake won Het Volk and placed 3rd and 5th (or something like that) in the E3 and Flanders. VdB was rather pleased with his performances!!

Congratulations to Jimmy for his bike throw at the end which got him the narrow victory in the 5 way sprint. Being that near the front was a uncommon experience for NBOL, but at least he didn't embarrass himself by throwing his arms in the air prematurely.

Penguin forgot that there was a race today. That would explain his brilliant goose-egg result. Congrats to Jimmy who is also closing in on Burkni for the overall lead.

So Shag does not feel more left out than he already has, Penguin points out that he has a comfortable position of 5th on the ITT leaderboard. Penguin appreciates Shag hanging back to mingle with the other team members on the autobus today.

Considering shag has been riding in the wind for 250K for many of these races, crockett is amazed that shag would be sitting 5th! Plus, NBOL has cut shag off cold turkey for bottle carrying purposes.

Congratulations to Jimmy for winning today and taking over the ITT lead. He also had a very respectful 6th overall in WP.

Jimmy also sits 23rd overall, although his roster doesn't look primed to finish the classics on par with some of the great ITT performances from past years (two top-5's including shag's first place in 2009).

Burkni has had a very good week, winning both Brabantse Pijl and today's Amstel Gold. He also retakes the overall team lead from Jimmy.

NBOL offers his congratulations.

Burkni thanks NBOL, and states that he is surprised that it was possible without Gerrans even placing in either race.

crockett makes his first top step appearance of the classics season at Flèche Wallonne, pipping 4 others (Which strangely included NBOL) at the line in a photo finish.

NBOL after pounding his handlebars in frustration offers crockett his congratulations.

NBOL does not begrudge crockett the victory. It was just the frustration of being pipped after only being in the front group one other time all season that caused NBOL's reaction. NBOL also points out that although frustrated, he did not ignore his daughter after crossing the finish line.
