Excuse Burkni, what does Rake take back?

Rake had gently mocked Burkni for selecting Haussler, and then saw that Haussler scored points.

VdB didn't even realize WP added Strade Bianche for this season! Rightfully so, though, since the race is rapidly gaining stature and interest. VdB predicts it'll be a World Tour race before too long! He's also happy with this fact because Cancellara actually scored points in it for him, but as NBOl noted everyone and their mothers seem to have Fabian on their team so eh...

VdB is saving it for the big races, this is just preparation! He's also very interested in Penguin's backup website and will send said Canadian sprinter an email address to set up his contributor account soon.

His lineup for MSR:

Boonen
Gilbert
Breschel
Cancellara
Stannard
Cunego

Strangely no Valverde on Movistar!
War. War never changes. The end of the world occurred pretty much as we had predicted: Too many humans, not enough space or resources to go around. The details are trivial and pointless, the reasons, as always, purely human ones.

Burkni is not sure Valverde has ever raced MSR, and add to that how he is not exactly one to venture into unchartered territories with his racing programme and how he seems to avoid Italy like the plague, it was never going to happen.

Agree on Strade Bianche.

NBOL waiting for the delayed broadcast to look at the site, adds his late congratulations to Burkni for his outstanding performance.

Did Burkni really take the overall win?
He has been in such a lactic acid haze for the past 24 hours that things haven't been quite clear ...
Anyway, happy to set a good example and lead the troops to the TEAM WIN!! HELL YEAH!! B) :helmet:

:( So I log on to the WP site to see how my team is doing and am greeted with the fact that I have apparently been booted from Io Tifo Toto . . . ??? Don't even hear about it from team management, have to find out the hard way . . . I wondered why NBOL refused to take me back up to the front just before the Poggio.

FWIW, I would be sitting in fourth if my contract had been renewed.

NBOL refused to take you to the front because he was having trouble holding the wheel of the third to last guy in line.

Oh my! Perhaps due to protocol violations? Keep the running tally Shag, and keep the group informed.

Trying for an actual answer, while team management would have give the actual data, NBOL doesn't believe anyone was cut from the roster for the Spring Classics. This would mean that Shag (Smash) was cut last year for the Fall Classics.
