VdB is happy to say he managed to keep the non-starters out of the team this round!

Crockett is confident of a top-8 finish in the fall season.

The roster:

Gilbert
T Martin
Fugslang
Bennati
Bozic
Talansky
Brajkovic
Phinney
Cunego
Kiryienka
B Grabsch
Bobridge

Fully expect to be last after the WC races. Hopefully enough of my riders will continue on to PT and Lombardia. No Kittel could prove disastrous if he rides PT.

Crockett is beaming with the same type of confidence that NBOL is feeling. NBOL will score some points in the WC races, but has no idea if he even has any starters in the other races for sure. EBH was listed at Lombardia, but this is a very preliminary list.

Pretty much World's TT or bust

It would appear The Rake's gamble has paid off with a dominanting TT win!!! Well done sir! Penguin wants to know where the after-party is located...

After-party? Penguin can not go to an after-party. Penguin must train for the Road race coming up.

NBOL sends his congratulations to The Rake, and suggests that he party's hard at the after-party so that NBOL stands a chance in the road race.

Rake can't remember the after party. But he does remember waking up wrapped up in a rainbow.

Gamble paid off, though Bobridge for Bodnar would have provided more of a cushion since the Pole was beaten by an Eritrean.

Will soft pedal through the latter races to enable glory to his team mates.

PS - can Rake have an increased ham ration now?

VdB has decided that The Rake can have Penguin's ham ration, given how eager the latter was to start partying instead of salvaging his season with a decent RR performance...after his impressive Martin-like performance, The Rake can sit in during the RR as long as he shows something at P-T and/or Lombardia.

When VdB was a younger man, rainbows after parties he didn't remember mostly came in the regurgitated kebab form.

Congratulations to Penguin for a dominating victory in the Road Race. Now is the time for the after-party. NBOL will load up and haul the needed extra rations.

VdB should know by now that crashing parties is how Penguin trains for key events. Now about next year's contract...

Penguin thanks guidemd and NBOL (who put on a Canadian jersey) for an excellent leadout. We will be celebrating hard tonight with the specially marked kegs of TNP, Alexander Keiths, Big Rock and Aprikat (for guidemd).

VdB is happy to see his earlier scolding of Penguin's performances has had the desired effect: a rage (and TNP) fueled sprinting performance, finally showing some of that sprinting speed again that we've come to expect over the years...congrats to him and the rest of the Canadian armada, be it real or suspiciously American sounding!

VdB got boxed in by NBOL and had to go around, leaving him powerless against Penguin's mighty sprint.

Burkni courteously tips his helmet towards Penguin and then quietly leads the male members of team ITT around the corner to a real watering hole.

With the partial start lists available for P-T at the moment, NBOL may be fielding a 3 man team for the race. Hopefully as the start lists fill out that will change.

The start lists look filled out. NBOL's 3 man team status however has not changed.

NBOL has not dug through the other ITT rosters to see who won today, but know that he scored a big fat ZERO points for Paris-Tours.

Moving on to Lombardy it appears NBOL will have only Gilbert in the race. Of course everybody else on the team save Penguin will also have Gilbert in the race, so a victory is not in the works for the Fall for NBOL.

Penguin congratulates VdB as being the only ITT rider who set an alarm and showed up at the startline! Dominating victory with GVA and Stannard on his squad. Meanwhile, Penguin wonders what is taking room-service so long?

The guy at WP must be on fall vacation. He still has not posted the P-T results.

NBOL does not doubt Penguins fine analysis of the performance (or lack thereof) of ITT. NBOL would still like to be able to peruse the total result and see where VdB fell with the other teams that had scorers on them, how far down NBOL has fell in the overall, etc.
