Some of you may know www.wielerprono.be (looking at you Crockett wink.gif ), but not nearly enough people here participated last season! So I figured we'd get an early start this time. Anyone who likes cycling manager games: sign up!

The concept is pretty easy: you put together a team for the Spring classics, Vuelta, Giro, Tour and Fall classics (including the worlds). Your team for every part of the season must have 12 riders and can't exceed 7000 UCI points - that's right, no crappy PT points here. The team must be entered at least 24 hours before the start of every part of the season. So for the spring classics 24 hours before Het Volk, etc.

The site is in Dutch but is fully available in English (sometimes crummy English but hey). Participation is free and easy and you can win prizes! What's not to like!?

go to www.wielerprono.be and sign up, and post here if you're in. I'll bump this thread a few times before the start of the season to make sure everyone has their (final) team up and running. smile.gif

You can always ask for help if you need it of course.
War. War never changes. The end of the world occurred pretty much as we had predicted: Too many humans, not enough space or resources to go around. The details are trivial and pointless, the reasons, as always, purely human ones.

Yo. VdB thanks for the info. I wanted to participate last year but was busy moving around Earth. I look forward to having some fun!

VdB, I'm in, although I have a lot of catching up to do since I haven't paid much attention to cycling during the off season. It would be great if you could be the captain of a DP team and send invites to everyone in this thread so we can see how we stack up. I think everyone will need to give you their username for you to find them. Plus, you can be in charge of all trash talking for our team since most of the rest of us can't follow the discussion.

Great! keep on spilling into the church of wielerprono, ye faithful cycling flock! biggrin.gif

Formerly, there are some oddities about the list yeah (retired/suspended riders not removed, teams not updated) but afaik this is the final list with the correct 'points' for this season...so finding riders may be confusing but don't worry about the list changing later on. Just don't go signing suspended or retired riders. wink.gif I wish they'd put some sort of search engine in btw, instead of having to browse through 12 pages of riders...but hey. Selecting teams is also easier for the GT's because they have closed starting lists.

Aaaanyhow...alright crockett, I'll get a team up and running and get in touch with everyone. I told RTT last night that I'd wait for more ppl so sign up but we've got at least 6 entrants already so I guess we're good. smile.gif As for the team name....what about Io Tifo Toto? dur.gif

VdB, we will need an entrance code to join once you set the team up. Burkni, with all the internet game playing that goes on, it will probably be easier if you just move.
